Can I get a vacation please...

So we're back from out vacation to California and Logan, and it was wonderful but I was so ready to get home. It was like I needed to have a vacation after being on vacation. I think we all love to go places and see new things and just get away from our daily ruts, but isn't it funny that eventually that's what we crave; the comfort and routine of home?

I meant to but...

Because it took me 3 freaking hours to figure out how to compress my files and get them to a manageable size to download, I don't have time to post my digital scrap-booking on my blog! Thus the title of this post!!! You can go to my facebook site and see them though.

This is the deal...

So, I love to get on facebook and blogs every day and find something new; which I realize is totally unrealistic. I feel like I can only expect other people to add new pics and info if I do the same but it will be a while before I get to post any pictures or other such exciting stuff because my computer has recently been brought back from the dead, and as such I don't dare ask anything too demanding of it, for fear that it will completely give up the ghost before taxes come back and I buy a new one. So, sorry guys but that is my sort of pathetic excuse for having not posted for so long.

Better late than never...

It's only been about two months since Kaitlyn turned one and I'm finally posting her birthday pics for friends and family to enjoy!!! But I am heartbroken to learn that in my mad-dash to sort and catalog over 600 digital pics on my computer, by name and event, in one afternoon I have erased one of my favorites. Alas, the picture of baby Kaitlyn doing a face plant into her slice of cake has been lost to the bottomless depths of my computers recycle bin, never to be seen again.
The stockings were hung...

We are officially ready for Christmas! Our tree went up a few days after Thanksgiving(we regret that we couldn't show Havyn's involvement in this venture, due to the fact that she decided to do it in the nude!) and shortly thereafter, Brooklyn and Havyn made our first snowman of the season. Merry Christmas!

Santa Claus is coming to town...

We took the girls to see Santa at Jordan Landing last night. We waited in line for almost two hours and I was afraid when it was our turn the girls would throw tantrums, but they were perfect!
